I would suggest lastminute.com

I used to use the Premiere inn on the edgeware road, its fair bit out of town but great if youre driving down, really close to the tube station takes about 45 mins to get into the center.

Ive stayed in Easyhotel before, and its shockingly small.

If the company are paying, then theres the Ibis at Euston (a few others near there), or look for cheaper B&B's near tavistock square.
