I love this....
Brough Superior SS120 | eBay
Sorry but I beg to differ made in 1979 don't make it a Brough, Dunlop Alloy rims might look good and did do in my day on cafe racers,
now this on the other hand is a Brough
just my humble opinion though
My old man had one of them. £5 he paid.
He got told what it could have been worth had he still got it last year.

Nice to look at but I wouldn't want to own an old bike, I've seen too many of them round at the shop. Old blokes seem attracted to them (I qualify on that score) but they are always knackered trying to kick start them and we end up pushing them to get going.
I'd buy it (funds permitting)
Each to his own and it's an interesting looking bike, but it's not my favourite I'm afraid. (Reminds me of the chaotic plumbing in our
central heating.) No doubt it cost a lot to make new in 1992 (not 1979 I think?). Hideously expensive. I hope they get the money for it.
Just one small point (apart from the (to me) odd-looking copper plating and the alloy rims):
Shouldn't that saddle be sprung, on a hard tail frame?
Must have belonged to this guy

Had the frame been black, or even chrome, it would of been a LOT better
For nearly 80 grand I wouldn't want to be kickstarting a 1300 engine!

Oh Confused you've just made me make a mess of my pants, better off using a featherbed one of the most beautifully mannered frames around, those Vincent girdraulic forks were absolute crap.

It isn't a real Brough....£80K for a modern take on it. TE Lawrence wouldn't recognise it ....and he had 8 including the one he died riding.
mookaloid. have you been watching that prog on sky "cafe racer" as a follow on to what you said there was a guy on it who took an absolute mint K series Honda 750 4 refered to over here as a K0 (the one with 4 seperate pipes) and made it into a "cafe racer" it made me almost cry as only 36 were imported into the UK and 2 of them were written off within weeks.
That programme has been on afew times, and it was a nice bike,
The previous owner was there as well!
