It was on £170k when I donated late last night.
Will be at half million by end of day i suspect.
Quite nice that such a sad story can have a silver lining, no matter how thin.

Until Sunday, the day of the race, the page showed £400 had been raised for the charity.
Why the hysteria of donations ? No amount of money will bring her back (Princess Diana Syndrome?)

Thats because it was only friends and relatives donating. Now the whole country are!
Its not a hyteria, its a show of compassion and kindness to someone who set out with a good honest desire to help others and thru bad luck and paid a
heavy price.

Well said, someone who who dies as a consequence of a selfless act of kindness deserves some acknowledgement and respect at this difficult time. what
better way than supporting the cause in a way they would have wanted.
