Anyone else liking the Southern Comfort "whatever's comfortable" ad?

Just makes me smile

I like it as well, not sure why.

It makes us old chubbys feel as though we could just possibly be noticed by a good looking young lady in a bikini - perhaps

Dunno... I'm entirely missing the point and the supposed attraction allegedly inherent in that advert.
Dumpy old guy, of frightening seagulls visage, parading on the beach, ultimately in full creepy Dean Martin drink in hand style
Clearly not gonna move many bottles of Comfort imo.

Greasy old perv wearing budgie smugglers is going to make me buy burbon. Yuk although it may make sense to Americans.

Dunno I think Bare and Dusty are completely missing the point of the advert.

IMO It's entirely about being comfortable in your own skin, not caring what others think and enjoying life the way you like it. And it makes me smile because it's immediately shot down by judgemental folk.

Won't make me buy southern comfort (put myself off that when I was a teenager!) but I can appreciate it's slightly subtle message.

Its nowhere near to the level of the Smash robots.

Encouragig takng glass onto a beach is highly irresponsible imo

I prefer the be more dog ad.

That about sums it up IMO

I have the same teenage affliction with Southern Comfort

The guy in this advert is the spit of my mates dad.
Every time I see him I hum the song of this advert. i think its starting to wee him off!

You have hit the nail on the head there, and I do like the add for it's subtlety.

I am still partial to the odd drop of SC (but prefer many more drops of a good single malt!).

As a regular beach user I've no issues with taking the glass onto the beach. It's leaving it there or breaking it there that's the issue and he does neither
