Just wanted to post a note here to say how impressed I am by the guys at MAC1.

I have rung up on numerous occassions just for advice and guidance and whenever I call they are ALWAYS ready to listen and talk through the questions I have and answer them and give great advice.

When you embark on a project like building your own car it's a bit daunting to say the least but when you find guys like Mark and Colin at MAC1 it makes you realize that there are still companies out there who pride themselves on their excellent customer service.

I agree, I wasn't even building their kit and they seemed only too willing to dish out advice.

I bought quite a lot of bits from them too which proves customer service really does work!

Just to add to that, I also have found Mark and Collin at Mac#1 to absolute superstars.

VERY helpful and their stuff is well priced quality kit that always arrives when they say it will.

They recently helped me when another locost supplier let me down badly. Phoned them up explained the problem and the stuff arrived next day! 59 days quicker than other supplier and it was better made.

Same here,bought some bits good quality and price too.
nice people to deal with,luckilly i havnt had much to complain about from all my suppliers maybe i have just been lucky.

Well said Bob - I think we have been lucky also. I think it's more to do with how you treat people, treat them well and they go out of their way to please you. Treat them with contempt and you shouldn't be too surprised if all you get are 'the goods', nothing more.

Agree with shortie on every word. Always helpful, always nice and they know well what they are doing. Where "others" would ignore me (surely due to the fact that I'm located overseas so "why bother" ) , Mark would always try to help no matter how cheap the item in question discussion was.

I second all the above ! have dealt with them several times and they always have an answer to the problem i pose them, am still getting advice from them and they even told me to buy certain bits locally rather than from them as it would be cheaper for me !! So they even look after your wallet !!

They helped out with the whole of the brake kit in one purchase. Good one
