Metal Hippy - 23/10/04 at 08:30 PM

Yup, I'm back in circulation (sort of) for those that missed me...

hi rich. all well?

Metal Hippy - 23/10/04 at 10:59 PM

TPAFKAMH is still around, I just figured more people I would regard as friends on the forum would recognise Met than The Piss Artist.

Alright Joel me ode mucka, things aren't bad except the previous tenants having funkloads of debt with BT hence preventing my phoneline fun. Joy.

For those interested all my stuff is now in my nice shiny double length garage ready for serious action to finally get under way in decent conditions.

The old plough building workshop was ace, but could have been better in quite a few ways.

Plus now for the very first time I have the stuff at my disposal literally seconds from my front door which will hopefully help inspire me to actually work on it.

Far better than it being a 25min drive, plus setup time getting the electrics rigged up amid the rain that is inevitably piddling in...

Spoken to Mark lately?

JoelP - 23/10/04 at 11:29 PM

no sign of the old china teapot. he still logs in now and again but rarely posts. Need to remind him of the crimbo dinner coming up.

Ben_Copeland - 24/10/04 at 07:20 AM

Shug -THAT's funny!

Hey Hipster, welcome home. You're like the prodigal son done good. I'm glad to hear that you've finally got a close workspace of your own. That'll really make the project move along. I for one can't wait to see it!

Graber

Hugh Paterson - 24/10/04 at 11:29 PM

He's hinting at a visit North of Hadrians wall fer a weekend to have me old Tig machine and learn how to weld before he "gets stuck in" better start stocking the fridge and find some music he likes
now wheres my ear defenders
Shug.

James - 25/10/04 at 08:24 AM

Welcome back Hippy!

We need you to install the jukebox and liven all these stiffs up a bit!

Two months to sort phone eh? My girlfriend has similar problems trying to get it sorted at her flat after the last tenants had theirs cut off through not paying.
That's in addition to the 90quid debit there was on the electricity meter when they moved in!

Good to see you back,

James

I'll supply the ear defenders and the music, just make sure you have a decent stereo in that nice shiny workshop of yours...

Metal Hippy - 26/10/04 at 06:18 PM

unlucky mate. I regret the day i ever called NTL. nice employees, but useless network/cabling. i have spent about 2% of my subscription time (over a whole year) with no interent access due to system failures.

Ben_Copeland - 27/10/04 at 07:37 PM

I get problems with tiscali ADSL, just decides to cut off from time to time, on off on off all day

Metal Hippy - 28/10/04 at 03:34 PM

1.have you had your hair cut? Yes

2. Still with Emma? Yes

3.Any progress carwise? Yes ish as usual

Never had any problems with ntl Joel... Only down time we had was two or three times for a couple of hours at some ridiculous time of the night while I wasn't working so I noticed it off....
