Just to let people know there is a new button on the front page labled 'Donate', Mr W put this up to shut me and Hellfire up about feeling
the need to show our support to him for ALL his time and effort running and developing this site. It is NOT compulsary to donate so do not feel it is,
it is there only for people who feel the same as us and that it is time for ChrisW to receive something in return for running the site

Thanks to everyone who has sent me money but please remember this is in no way meant to be mandatory. The site isn't going anywhere, and I have
no issue with donating the resources it needs from my business. Luego have helped me out with my project and I'm more than happy with the
situation. I see it as a tax free way of getting car parts out of my business!
BTW, buying a hosting account/server from me, or a brekkie at the WLM meet is just as good as donating!

Donate what you want to - there is purposely no amount 'set' to be a contributor.
Bob - no problem about not having 'contributor'. Scotlad has already done that

Quickest way to update the code might be to add an attribute/column into the DB, marking MemberStatus(0-basic, 1-paying etc) then having
if ($memberstatus == 1) $stars = 9;
Or just have a field marking # of stars I guess...

I've got very similar, except the if is on a free text field (the one that puts the 'amusing' captions under the user's name)
something like
if ($customstatus == "Contributor" { $stars = 9; }
or similar
