i am looking for this tool and was wondering if anyone knoew where they are available in the uk?

alternativly maybe someone who lives inthe us could buy a couple and sen them over. they of course would be rewarded appropriately

I have seen simmilar in my local ironmongers. They are for plastic and light work only.

What you want them for... Speedo Holes?.

mmy dad want one, he has a 25+ years old one fantastic quality one and can't find a decent one

he is a joiner and rates his hole saw as one of his best tools

I bought one that has a central drill spigot thingy, and an adjustable fly cutting bit.

Its kinda like an h shape.

Its cuts wood fine and used it to fit speedos. I got it from europa spares.

They're called tank cutters, as used in the old days to cut pipe holes in tanks.

I have one - I managed to cut a hole in aluminium sheet by pre-drilling a central hole the same size as the spigot (the spigot was too crude a drill to make its own hole in metal).

It's a bit exciting cutting ali with this thing - I had to use a drill press and lots of clamps. Oh, and some cutting oil to give it a fighting chance. It still has a decent edge on the cutting arm, so I wasn't being too unkind to it.
