Any sewing machinists on here or in your family?

Hi Im looking at getting something run up on a sewing machine.
Does anyone on here or your other half, aunt, uncle, brother, sister undertake such work?

Its basically the fabric part of a stretcher type bed to sit across the front seats of a van so that a nipper can sleep in there when the adults are sleeping in the back.

its the sort of think on this link.

HERE

I have made the frame so can supply dimensions etc

Thanks
Colin

My Daughter could do this, she's currently got the sewing bug.

She's on hols at the moment back 25th, ping me if you don't get fixed up by then and I'll put you in touch.

My uncle is an upholsterer in Kent - He can make this for you... easy peasy !

Not an answer to your question but....
I was shocked at the cost of strong material when I was making the bunks for the back of my ambulance so I bought a couple of new old stock alluminium folding stretchers and shortened them. To fit across the back of the ambulance I just unbolted the handles but the canvas slides out of the ally poles so you can cut the poles down to suit your space.
The ones I bought are the same as this:
British Army Issue Folding Aluminium &' Nylon Heavy Duty Rescue Stretcher Grade A

But the ones I got were £16 each and came from:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/gijoearmystores2010/m.html?ssPageName=&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2654

They have none listed at the moment but it may be worth asking them?
