A shame to hear this, I suspect many people are familiar with his output although they may not realise it!

'Tis a crying shame.

Rock In Peace Lemmy

I will remember always seeing Motorhead live for the first time at the tiny Newcastle Mayfair in about 1979; I couldn't hear for days after, but what an experience !

Even sadder coming so soon after the untimely death of Phil(thy) Taylor.
If they went to heaven the tranquillity will be about to be smashed !

(PS, I have just heard that Lemmy was only diagnosed with the big C on Boxing Day. He went the way he would have wanted; Fast and Loud!).

So the jokes have started already the grave diggers have swapped out their standard issue equipment for the gold plated 'ace of spades'.....

One of the last true rock n rolla's how he managed to make that age is beyond me, he did some brilliant stuff, when I was a young the only 2 groups worth listening to were the sex pistols and Motörhead .
