Bummer - I suffered an epileptic fit at work last Thursday!
First one at work, ambulance in attendance and very worried colleagues. Driving out now until January 2017 and a serious question mark over the
Keppra Anti-Epilepsy-Drug working as it should.
Spent the weekend feeling pretty miserable about it, but on the + side I'm still here and walking so it's not all bad.
One of the things I've realised I miss most about not being allowed to drive is the time it gives you alone - selfish? Maybe, but I now know how
much I enjoyed that time with no one else around.
Hope you are well, bast**d of a thing to have, my ex girlfriend suffered for years, seemed OK last time we spoke. Good Luck and take care.
Thanks sprint - seem to be OK and fingers crossed it will stop!
I suffered a head injury which brought on the epilepsy - didn't ask for it, but then who does!?!
I wouldn't mind the not driving, but I've been out for a drive just for the sake of it before now
Chin up....2017 is only a few months away !

Just need to stay positive I'm waiting on a kidney and was pretty down about it till I met a 14 year old st the clinic who needs heart and lungs
The best of luck to you!
It's easy to be downbeat, but takes more to lift it up and praise what you do have.
Unlucky mate. I guess you don't need me or anyone else to tell you to keep looking forward.........

Sorry to hear you've had another.
I too love driving, must be horrible when your told you can't drive.
After this summer in my kit car I can totally understand what you say about going for a drive on your own too,imo it's not selfish,we all need
some time to ourselves
All the best and hope it works out ok
A lad at work suffers these and sadly has several a year, He now takes a load of medication to help try and stabilize it
Jeeez mate, must have been both worrying and frightening experience.
Not driving is not end of the world but it must feel worse not being able to.
Important thing is youre still here. Fingers crossed it gets befter for you.
Sorry to hear about it
I can kinda relate as my dog's got it too. He started last october and we're still trying to get his doseage right now, but he had a nasty
fit last night
He can't drive either but it doesn't seem to bother him, maybe try running round with your tongue out, seems to work for him

Hehehehe, I've tried running around and it involves trying to stay upright which is a challenge!
At least a person can talk and tell you how they feel - it must be very hard with a pet and the lack of communication involved.
