Well, I've been looking forward to going home from uni and getting a few miles on the clock of my Indy, but I managed to dislocate my knee
yesterday and now I can barely walk, let alone press a clutch pedal! Not a happy bunny!
Pete
Time to build a new kitcar!
One with automatic gearbox?
All the best with your knee!
At least you are at home for christmas, I am stuck out in the middle of the sea, making gas to keep all you bas%$%ds warm. But like the murphies.... (Not that I am allowed to drink anyway)
Know the not allowed to drink feel, as I'm on gaurd starting nights the 31st
I mean who whould attack a desolate RAF camp over the new year in the freezing cold.
Rant over and Pete hope the knee gets better quickly.
ATB Dan.
Scooby - that's a limp excuse!
Hope it goes well....
and stay off the hokey kokey
A very good reason for fitting a paddle shift!
Otherwise, Rorty's site has full instruction for clutch-less shifting.
All you need is one good leg; brakes, who needs'm.
Get well soon, bastard tendons/ligaments are worse than breaking a bone.
Cheers
KT
Well i managed to hobble about a bit today so with a bit of luck it'll be healed up enough to go for a bit of a blast in a couple of days!
In the meantime I suppose I should do some revision for my exams - oh joy

Don't forget to do what the doctor/physio tells you to do!
I know of someone who tried to use a badly-sprained ankle sooner than she should, and ended up with a foot pointing 90 degrees away from where it was
meant to point! I think the tendons shrak, or something. Needed surgery to fix.
So, do the exercises they tell you to do, and don't use it in anger until recommended.
David
Hmm, doctor eh? Haven't ACTUALLY been to see one of them...
Pete
Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but the Mrs dislocated her kneecap four weeks ago, and still cannot use it/put weight on it. Going back to the
hospital tomorrow to see if she is gonna need an op...

It actually went back in almost immediately. But it looks like it might of done other damage.
It happened at her works Xmas party, and she wasn't pi55ed either (Quack said this was a good thing, might of *really* done some damage with
anesthetic on board....
). Went too A+E next day, and back again the day after.
They seriously thought about putting her leg in plaster, but decided against as they didnt want muscle wastage to occur.
Looks like I am cooking the Xmas dinner...
Hope you get well soon mate.
P.s. Don't let the snow put you off, it's great fun!
