Being as it's the season to be jolly - whilst being frugal. Anyone with an Eyetoy Camera for the PS2 can connect it as a webcam or simple camera
using a USB port on their PC or Fliplapfloptop... you do have to use some pretty hacked drivers, but they do work as I can safely say. There are
basically two types of camera: Logitech and Namtai... identified as SLEH-00031 and 30. Just in case you ask
Anyone wishing me to post the drivers after searching through a few dodgy one's, only has to ask.
When it's all done you can just plug it safely back into the PS2, then PC, then PS2, then PC until your heart is content.
Come on then Hellfire, ours is a 30.
What do you do with a webcam anyway, do you have to take pictures of your private bits?
Cheers
Hi Northy - LB won't let me attach the .zip file you need. I will email it to you!
Install the software BEFORE you plug in the camera.
Cheers Hellfire,
Can you post a link to where you got it from also/ I'd be interested in what other cool stuff there is.
I want to get a network adaptor and Hard Disk int my PS2 soon, as well as a DMS4 E.Z.I.
