The griffons ok and with that bullet proof nissian engine you could turn it into a waterpump when the car dies.

The owner had this to say about the company....

quote:

Griffon had an excellent reputation for quality, very strong well put together bodies. Fully comp with 4 drivers £130 through Adrian Flux.

So nice cheap insurance too!!

Anyone have any idea on the BHP of the 2litre bluebird engine?

I had never heard of them before --- looks similar in many areas to the Cortina based Spartan which were truly awful in all respects

marcyboy - 31/1/05 at 07:38 PM

but that's nowhere as ugly as athe flat fronted spartan...looks more classy to me,
like a pikey version of a morgan...

donut - 31/1/05 at 07:41 PM

I had a look at a sparton once...very nasty!! How the hell anyone was suposed to drive it was beyond me!!
