
Which way(Before I break it)does the crank pulley bolt come undone on a 2ltr 16v single cam toyota engine?Doing the cam belt and its fighting me.Also where are the cam timing marks on these things.All info greatly accepted(And offers to do it for nowt).
As far as I can remember from my Corolla, it was a normal right hand thread, I freeed it off by placing the socket on the nut with a breaker bar
against the ground. A quick blip on the starter soon had it freed!
Dead Easy!
Obviously I disconnected the HT leads first!

Out of interest what car are you working on?
And have just realised the scans were of the valve cover removal (bugger!). Oh well the BGB link will cover it all
