Dented it this morning, anyone know how easy it is to remove the inner off side wheel arch on a W reg 306?
I did not have time to examine the 'injury' this morning but i assume you need to get the plastic inner arch out to get you hand to the
inside of the drivers wing?
inner arch is held in place by some of those pesky plastic clips. you can just pull it out if it is damaged and you plan to replce the clips,
otherwise careful prying with a tool will help if you plan to reuse them..
watch any wires/tubes coming out of the washer bottle which is just behind the arch liner..
Ned.
ps very obvious but thought i would add, that removing the wheel makes the job a lot easier..

Its only a small dent ...well in terms of depth anyway, so would like to reuse the plastic clips if at all possible.
What a shi*e start to the week, It was imacculate looking yesterday - listed it on ebay for sale
Clicky and went and reversed into
it in my other car this morning i i now have 9 days and x hours to get it sorted out before the auction ends........................bollox

Theres a guy I use Col who's pretty good not too far away from you here in Stoke.
Took a right nasty ding out my people carriers wing and resprayed it good as new £120,high build metallic paint as well.
It was cheaper paying him than losing my excess that AXA had sneakilly upped to £250 .

Bob
Cheers Splitrivet,
I just called in to my local branch of the National chain 'Chips away' - a minor body repair specialist. anyone had any experience of this
company?
My innitial feeling was that they were a bit kind of 'roll it in mate and we will soon bang it out' and you get what you get come the end of
their hour slot or what ever it is - they are one of these set rate companies and i always get the feeling that if a 70 quid job turns out to be more
like a 150 quid job then they stop working on it when they hit the 70 quid mark!
I reckon it will pop out TBH but i aint trying it!
Im on imited time too, 9 days and counting
, and having to explain it away to any viewers that come to look before the auction is up
