hi chaps,

just found an old AT (i think) PSU lurking in a cupboard and fancy putting it to use in an electrolysis setup.

can someone tell me which pins to use for the positive and negative to go to the tub?

Usually:

Black is 0v
Red is +5v
Yellow is +12v

if you want 12v, take it from the disk drive leads. those ones are the motherboard leads - 12v on there too, but easier to ID from a drive connector

if the fan doesnt run, it signifies its not powered on - you may need to connect two other wires together - i dont know which ones off hand - someone will tell you tho.

Not on AT Steve - it's only the newer ATX supplies that have a PS-ON wire.

You may need to load up the 5v line though to make the PSU work properly. Something like an old indicator bulb will sort it.
