these figures sound ridiculous - do you think they are refering to any alcohol, rather than to being in excess of the limit? madness is 25% of drivers drive drunk

rules are rules.

if you dont fail both tests by the right amount, then you dont get prosecuted. How can you argue with that?

at the end of the day i bet 99% of people on here have at some time driven a tiny bit over the limit and would have got a ban. can you say you have never had more than 2 pints when driving? even 2 pints can do ya.

drink driving is a bad thing, but all the pub car parks are full of cars....

I will admit i used to drink drive quite regular however i dont anymore... Far to risky..

I know a bloke that just been done for it. He was 3 points below a prison sentence!! He always used to tell ppl off for drink driving.
He turned alchy cos his wife came home from work one day and told him they were splitting up, packed her bags and promptly left..

I must admit, I have stopped drinking and driving... In a Land Rover, its not a matter of who or what you hit... but having rather agricultural suspension... I usually spill most of it, and thats a waste of Good Beer
