Adam, remember, post number seems to be inversly proportional to build progress

Hmm, I suppose. But you have more than me and you've finished, so maybe it doesnt work.

Ahh, post number per day is proportional to overall build time

actually, its another 4k to catch up.

still, find any post where i have said a high post count is a good thing. Or even pointed out a milestone.

In terms of 'posts per day' im no where near being top poster - its taken 3 1/2 years to get this total!

I think simplicity has a lot more to do with rate of build. alanB for example and Liam both have complex builds that are pretty time consuming.

my build hasnt had anything done to it since last october. I stopped so i could do the bike renovation ive been working on.

as the build (very deviant car) has taken so long, i felt i needed a break in order to do a project where I could at least get some kinda end result in less than 6 years!

still its taught me that building something from ready made parts (a bike from boxes of bits) must be rather like assembling something like a MK indy kit. It takes a massive amount of time when you dont follow the 'book' if you are scratch building. just read the grp section on my site! I feel sorry for all the work alanB has to do.

Im about to go to work on the front wings of the car - 7 ft long grp sections which have to be made from scratch - buck, mould, parts.
