Avoneer - 15/6/05 at 04:16 PM

Anyone know if he made a race in the end?

Just seen his Fury for sale in KitCar for £8.5k.

Judging from last nights efforts, he'll be lucky!!!

Fame (for a second) !!!!
Greg

tri - 15/6/05 at 05:27 PM

is it just me or was it a bit stupid to "turnover" the engine with out any oil being in the car even for the little amount he did it for

big_wasa - 15/6/05 at 05:34 PM

Nah.He didnt exactly turn it over ,he just ingaged the starter...You would turn it over by hand with no oil to check cam timing ect

Jon Ison - 15/6/05 at 05:36 PM

the answer too the original question is,

ain't seen him yet.

Short clip of Mallory and you go flying past!

Avoneer - 15/6/05 at 06:26 PM

Yeah, flying.

Just a blur across the screen and then three Fury's trying to keep up (or about to lap you)

Pat...

i know he didn't turn it over thats y i had the " " around them

Triton - 15/6/05 at 07:01 PM

Why didn't the prat just mod the Fury to go racing rather than go thru all that crap.......far prettier car and one that actually works

donut - 15/6/05 at 08:00 PM

you would think that in his 1st year of racing he would buy a 2nd hand car and learn what it's all about. He may hate it!

Bloke's a whally!

shortie - 15/6/05 at 09:43 PM

Don't get me started on this!!!

The guy keeps going on about how hard it is and as far as I can see has done about 5% himself and the rest has been done by others!!

And as for the crane lifting the car over the house, what an idiot, I gaurantee you it would be cheaper to knock down two fence panels in all of his next door neighbours gardens, get the car out and then replace the panels!!

Even my wife thinks he's an idiot!

liam.mccaffrey - 15/6/05 at 10:35 PM

call me cynical but it would not be as good tv if he takes it out through someones garden. they'll milk a whol episode out of that its completely for the cameras

Winston Todge - 15/6/05 at 11:46 PM

Seems like a bit of an idiot... Hasn't seemed to have done any amount of preparation or research...

He's just gone, ooo money lets buy some expensive stuff and go racing in a ridiculously quick car and try not to kill myself...

A crane! lol!

I have to agree, this guys a fudd. Theres nothing wrong with asking for help, but fook me how about having ago yourself first. Hes more of a project manager, knowing what guys to get to do what jobs and when. What hope has he got when he thinks a rivot is the greatest invention ever and joining a chain gives him the horn.

I have a feeling that it will be a very well built car, but no thanks to him. Enough, I will stop,. Whats that other blokes name Mark Evans, a race car is born?? now that was soooo much better.

That's the point where I decided that he was a total loser... I switched off the TV and found something more interesting to do...

I missed most of it this week due to watching Most Haunted Live........................................................BOO!

Did they ever say how much it cost him to crane the car over the house and employ Telecom to drop telephone lines?

donut - 24/6/05 at 10:02 AM

Watch it all the time. Must have seen just about every episode. Seen some strange sh*t on that programme!!

I have done a fair bit of research on the paranormal and some of the stuff on Most Haunted is pretty interesting.

BOO!

Watched it last night does anyone know whats happened since ........ does he go racing? is he still rebuilding the car ? does he finally kill himself

David Jenkins - 29/6/05 at 09:56 AM

I was gob-smacked when he said that he nearly didn't arrive at the rolling road session 'cos his road car had run out of oil...

Apparently as soon as they start testing the thing the chassis starts to bend and a wishbone gets snapped, so he never actually makes it to the grid. That'll teach him to start modifying the chassis, which was the whole reason he ended up with a Dominator, as AGM backed out as soon as he started talking about modifying the WLR chassis (sourced from MK - based on the Indy) to fit a Busa.

Bloke's a twat. He's got carried away with his own ideas and it'll cost him. Mind you, the production company have had to stump up for the crane and the exhaust - which he tried to get for free.

And did you see the damage the rolling road did to one of the Yokos because the handbrake was binding - you'd have thought he might take it for a wee spin to shake it down first rather than subject it to a full RR session on the first turn of the engine.

nob - that's me, by the way, not him (the nob).

woodster - 29/6/05 at 12:12 PM

I would of liked to see his first race ....... he nearly jumped out of his skin on last nights prog when the engine started for the first time ....... I'm sure he would of sh*t himself in his first race!!!!
