I would do but I've got nothing to build - been on the road since October Having said that I have broken it yet again today so I've got some repairs to make...

That's what I'm looking into now Can't decide what to do but it may mean selling the Indy to finance it Quite tempted by a mini with a vauxhall engine, or something along those lines

I like those mini's too, but I think it's a lot of work. Even more then building a locost.

Ofcourse you can also put a vauxhall engine in your Indy.

There was an article in PPC recently showing you how to put a Vauxhall engine into a mini, didn't look too tricky, but not easy by any means. The downside was it would still be FWD and I'm getting a taste for RWD cars

I was waiting for someone to say that . I'm still not completely sold on bike engines, their lack of torque bothers me. Maybe a trip out in one would change my mind!

An engine change either way would be nice but to be honest I'm not sure I can justify the cost - if I thought it would add more value than it would cost then I'd be very tempted...

I would reccomend a rear engined (bike engined) Mini if you were going down the Mini route. Also if you can get a fibreglass shell all the better, anything to keep the weight down.

Hi OX that sounds great. May be quite hazardous to my bank balance though!

Just been reading the latest episode of the PPC Fisher Fury 'busa engine'd track day car and I find myself getting more and more tempted by bike power...
