Hi all,
I'm looking for a set of clubs and bag, does anyone have any that are collecting dust?
Am looking in the range of about 50 to 100 quid for a full set. I'm based in London but will pay for postage or whatever if needed.

I have a set up in leeds, not sure about the postage cost though. I havent used them in about 5 years (last use was to remove dandelions from the
lawn). ISTR that there are some carbon shafts in there... I'll take a look if you're interested. About £25 would part me (or actually,
motivate me to chuck them out!)
Played it since I were a wee lad of six, can I knock it? 
Biggest problem with multiple hobbies is the lack of time to do any single one well.
FWIW, I played 18 holes a day six days a week as a teen -- I now play two or three times a year. I enjoy it far more now owing to the fact that
it's for a laugh.
If you're just starting out you should be able to pick up a set of servicable clubs at a boot sale for £20-£50. The £150 saved and spent on a few
lessons with the course pro will be a much better investment.

You should carry a two iron aswell, and I'll tell you why:
I was once told that if you're ever stuck on a golf course in a thunder storm, you should hold up your two iron on the way back to the clubhouse
to avoid being struck by lightning. Why?
Not even God can hit a two iron...
