Hi All
Back from me sunny hols in Frogland and can't wait to start building my Indy next week.
One thing that made me larf when in frogland was their TV programmes. One which stood out was on German MTV which is Pimp My Ride but not with cars or
crappy english white radio DJ's trying to be black and looking like a complete pratt, This was with Bicycles!!!!!! yep, push bikes of all things.
Sad was not even in the same hemisphere! The bikes were crap to start with and finished being crap but this time unridable with their huge bull horn
handlebars and stereo's that they had to tow.
No wonder we won the war!!
Don't mention the war, i did but i think i got away with it!!
We weren't fighting the French though ???????????
we are now (EEC)

I thought frogland was France not Germany
Hmmm, I think Andy was watching GERMAN MTV in France....so therefore his comments were aimed at the German producers of the German programme
shown on French TV.
No doubt someone will be along soon to correct me.....
Fozzie
That is also the impression I was working under. Nobody fought the French, as they were too busy running away or collaborating. Cheese eating surrender monkeys.
we have been at war with france for the last 1000 years (apart from 1914-1918 and 1939-1945)when germany joined in the fun,we defeated germany (2-0)
so we could continue the war with the french
Oooops, it's me that looks silly now...
Pat...
Glad ya back, did ya get me txt last week ???
Will pop in next week for a look at the mk for some much needed inspiration !!

Hi All
To clear a few things up i was watching German MTV in France. this was only in the Hotel just outside of Paris before heading off to the little
country retreat near La Rochelle.
Sorry John i saw no U boat penns but the beach we went to was very near an airfield and we regularly saw a Harvard and some Yak's. One day while
shopping at the local Super U (bit like Tesco but with more cheese!!!
) The harvard wad dive bombing the runway which was yards away from the
Supermarket and the Yaks were doing the same. They were waiting to get about 9 WW2 planes off the ground to go to a show. i'm asuming this as
they went in a tight vic formation.
Needless to say it took me and my father-in-law a great deal of time to get the shopping in the back of the car.
The Super U and airfield were at Le Tranche Sur Mer, anyone know it?
Jason
The Kettles always on mate, bring yer spanners
Didn't get you're Text i'm afraid, they are runing about a week late!!
P.S.

Hey You LOT......
Stop maligning the Frenchies.
Its not right and proper.
Now
I once saw a "Hagar the Horrible" Strip cartoon in the Sun...
In which Hagar was reclining on his Chaise Longue with his Drinking Horn and thinking (with the bubles in the cartoon).
"Hmmm.... Friends....They Come..... and they Go!"
"BUT"
"A good Enemy can last you a lifetime!"
Now from this, we MUST look at our Neighbours across the channel realistically.
We have been fighting them for over a Thousand Years. They are a worthy people to put up with fighting for so long and hardly ever winning.

We should celebrate every year with a public holiday, and salute those Neighbours with the "Archers Salute" (From the English Archers at
Agincourt)
The V sign was good enough for Churchill... so its good enough for anyone else!.

Have any of you tried putting 'French military victories' into google and hitting 'I'm feeling lucky'
