as title!?

i know they're not meant to be used for shopping etc but i've parked mine up in town once and i'm constantly worrying for it's safety seeing as all it has as security is a very very simplistic early 80's ignition system!

maybe i'm thinking a bit extreme? would a battery cut off be enough?

i know for cabriolets you can get alarms that put a "bubble" around the car and if it's broken then the alarm goes off etc...anyone fitted one of them?

I've fitted a motorbike alarm/immobiliser to my Phoenix - got it off ebay. Was easy enough to fit as i was making my own loom anyway...

Its got shock and tilt sensors, current detection and a seperate switch which will be activated by the bonnet.

I have fitted a Cat 2 immobiliser and a quick release steering wheel to mine.

Which leads me to my next question.....how easy is it to fit a quick release steering wheel boss? is there anything out there than just bolts on rather than having to be welding bits on?
