Hi
Anyone into or know about building these cars? It's the sort of thing i was always into when i was younger and i saw a prog on the telly about
Hot Rods and Rat Rods and it was great.
This is for a possible future build...maybe... but not for a long time yet.
This is the sort of thing i like.....

Fella in my village builds them for a living....phalic rods i think he calls him self......mad things with mad engines no wings and as loud as yer
like.....luvly
Saw a programme on Sky yesterday called Hot Road build off. Two guys building against each other for a show entry. Some of the paint work was unbelievable! Our U.S. counterparts might be able to shed some light.
Yeah theres quite a few progs about hot rods and customs like, Overhaulin', American Hot Rod, Hot Rod Build Off and Rides. The episode of Rides i
saw today had a small group building a Rat Rod which is a normal rod with no spit and polish. It's all unpainted, unclean and rusty but still
looks amazing.
Maybe next build.

I've seen partbuilts come up on ebay occasionally
Not really my cup'o'char but the 33 speedster looks pretty cool in a hotwheels kind of way.
Take a locost chassis with bent instead of cut sides and your most of the way there except it would handle better. Add about 8 to 10 inches of side
hieght and your almost there.

Yeah, good idea. I'll have a play in photoshop.
You will probably like this.I love it! http://www.robesky.org/ Getting the rear wheels in the right place seems to be the main issue with a locost chassis though.

They get round SVA by supposedly using an old chassis....
NICE!! and the chassis looks very 7 esque!! Just need a different body! (i could do with one of them!!
)
I regularly used to see an original, but hot-rodded all-steel blue Model B roadster with orange wheels on my way to work. It was supremely evocative,
stylish and simple.
