Angle grinder??

You'll be too full up for that 'mountain' bilge then!!!

indykid - 22/10/05 at 12:26 PM

wet and dry, it took my fingerprints clean off the other week

soak them in warm water for a while, then a good scrub. it usually shifts most stuff.

GLOVES

rusty nuts - 22/10/05 at 12:36 PM

Borrow her nail varnish remover? Think it's acetone . Or get some flesh coloured ink.

theconrodkid - 22/10/05 at 12:52 PM

ive tried the angle grinder trick, just splatters blood all over the walls,petrol/wd40/kitchen cleaner/window cleaner/dont work, ive got some oven cleaner but think that may be a tad harsh, wet and dry seems fave at the mo,should have put some gloves on i spose, imagine asking a girlie for a dance wearing "examination gloves"

serendipity123 - 22/10/05 at 01:00 PM

when i'm in the shop bodging customers computers i use bleach.

Chris_R - 22/10/05 at 01:44 PM

Isopropynol (rubbing alcohol) will disolve ink.

Spyderman - 22/10/05 at 01:45 PM

Liquid soap or Swarfega and suger or sand.
Usually makes it abrasive enought to remove stains from hands without hurting.

dave1888 - 22/10/05 at 01:56 PM

Try washing powder and a bit water might not shift the ink but your hands will be lovely and soft.

MkIndy7 - 22/10/05 at 02:26 PM

Think i've heard of barrier cream working

Avoneer - 22/10/05 at 02:53 PM

White spirit will shift it, if not, washing powder and washing up liquid mixed together is second best.

Pat...

Brake cleaner.

Don't leave it on too long though...

Where else did you spill it?

gazza285 - 22/10/05 at 04:45 PM

The ink that is.

Peteff - 22/10/05 at 05:23 PM

Get some baby wipes John, I've just used one to remove a load of mastic off my hands and they've come up really clean. Only downside is you'll smell like a baby's bum.

rusty nuts - 22/10/05 at 05:46 PM

Try not to recycle them? there is a limit you know!

steve_gus - 22/10/05 at 07:34 PM

nail varnish remover is acetone - its a bit agressive to skin and is i think a cancer agent. Make sure you put some oily lotion on the area after or your skin will dry out. Filled my cartridges the other night, and luckily wore examination gloves - they got covered.

Although no help to you at the moment, I have some tricloroethelene in the garage.

Guaranteed to solve your problem and as an added bonus will remove your nasal hair at the same time. Job done.

theconrodkid - 23/10/05 at 12:09 AM

as allways my charm and personality won through, pinkies are better now

rusty nuts - 23/10/05 at 09:05 AM

How?

steve_gus - 23/10/05 at 03:29 PM

perhaps when his lady came around he dipped them into something moist in order to get the ink off.

Did I actually type that?

I hope not! Acetone is formed in the body as a byproduct of breaking fat down. We sweat and exhale small amounts of it.

It does dry your skin out quite badly though, and causes respiritory problems at higher level doses.

theconrodkid - 23/10/05 at 05:01 PM

steve gus get the biscuit

steve_gus - 23/10/05 at 05:03 PM

think you are right. Its still pretty nasty stuff for the body even if it is present...
