i know there is a fair few folk done it but how?!
what's been used to make the bracket?
does the vibration knacker the camera in a short time?
i really want to get some video footage of my indy in action to send out to my mate in OZ but short of getting my dad to sit next to me with the
camera (very bad idea) then i'm a bit stuck!

We mount cameras in the rally cars sometimes
Best to make a box to mount to the rollbar, wrap the camera in some sort of padding, foam rubber best, cut down on vibration!
Make the box half inch or so bigger than camera, and wrap camera so it is a tight fit
hope this makes sense

p.s did full season with same camera

when did you shag my dads camera pat?
yes i can confirm my dads camera got knackered on a lovely day out at goodwood. mind you the engine in that car was solidly mounted to the chassis at
the bottom of the rollbar that the camera was clamped to.
use a rubber mount or try and make sure the camera is isolated from the chassis to dampen any vibrations. the playback/record heads got knackered on
my dads one..
Ned.

A bullet cam is the way to go. The kit I got from RF Concepts here excellent kit. You do need a DV camera with an AV IN socket though.
