Anyone use it ?

Any good ?

zxrlocost - 2/11/05 at 11:48 AM

limewire all the way finds most things

simplest to use

Found Kazaa full of nasties like Spyware etc....

As ZXR said, use Limewire.

britishtrident - 2/11/05 at 11:55 AM

Kazza is major trouble -- opens a way in for all sorts of backdoor trojans and spyware.

What are you after Jon?

Bit torrenting with Azureus is ok.

If you want rapid downloads and don't mind paying $10 a month, EASYNEWS is where it's at.

Pat...

Search for "Kazaa-lite" it's the same as Kazaa, but without the spyware etc.

NS Dev - 2/11/05 at 01:01 PM

kazaa-lite seemed to have gone very dodgy when I last tried to use it.

I use Emule mostly now, dead easy to use!

Also just started using I-Mesh, anybody else use this?

marcyboy - 2/11/05 at 01:57 PM

used i mesh a couple of years back ....was ok but i found bearshare better until recently

shame about bit torrents really

lewis635 - 2/11/05 at 05:00 PM

e-mule is very good no spyware or popupads

john_p_b - 2/11/05 at 08:30 PM

kazaa and kazaa-lite can't really be trusted anymore, legally they no longer exist as they got closed down.

i use shareaza, seems to find most things i want but to be honest i don't trust any file sharing really now!
