One of the best Top Gears i thought this week. White teethed Hamster and JC wresteling on the floor!!! Classic.
BUT: From what JC was saying, seems he has bought another Ford GT (or is it his old one back?) Probably old news to you lot but i had no idea!!

His excuse was that he had been on holiday!
But which Car would you have gone to France in? I think the Ferarri would do me. Mind you i would not complain if it were the Ford GT...providing
someone else paid the fuel bill!
yeah he bought his old one back, they fixed the problems with the alarm.
The registration number looked odd. Was it the same one as before?
Isle of Man reg. seeing as he 'has a house' there now as well.
P.S. Did anyone else notice the flashing lights in certain shots (reflected in the car windows and lights) ?
I reckon they had French plod riding shotgun - giving them safe passage and a certain amount of **cough** immunity...

yeah i noticed the lights... very smart!
id have the zonda all day long!
We thought there was a fault with the ford rear lights they seemed to keep flashing (unless that was the french plod)
Think i'd have the GT, the Zonda looks to have some very strange proportions from the side.
Joel - is that with the sore arse after 500 miles? Rather you than me! 
Ferrari for me
Would have the F430, i absolutely love that car. Best looking Ferrari in years and amazing sound too.
When the Zonda came out i wasnt a big fan of its looks, but i quite like it now, looks like a fighter plane with the forward cockpit. Saw one in the
metal (or CF) at Le Man this year and they are amazing up close.
That amount of money on a car - I'd rather buy my own plane/chopper.
In the real world, you still get stuck in traffic.

GT40 was best looking BUT...
If you have to actually live with a car than I don't think either the Ford or the Zonda make any sense at all. It would have to be the
Ferrari...
The Zonda is great and would be fun round a track but around town or country lanes? no thanks! pretty much the same goes for the GT with 3 added
drawbacks - fuel economy, reliability and it will always be 'just' a Ford......

I dont think id go for the Zonda. Makes more sense to use the cash to buy a mad Ultima, F430 for posh days out and use the change to build a big garage.

I'd buy the GT40 and an Ultima!
Ultima would be quicker on the track than the Zonda anyway, and not get stuck leaving car parks!!! I really do have a rather strong dislike of the
Zonda, it makes a statement about it's owner that I really wouldn't want!!!
The GT40 is just an awesome looking car.

Well if your a big guy the GT is out of the question. I was in a newer GT40 (and am 6'4" This summer and My head was touching the roof and
my shoulders the doors. I actually have more room in my build than the GT. Allthough I am sure a custom made seat might be able to solve that issue.
Hard to beat all that thunder under the rear window though.

JC is about 6ft 8 and he has bought himself a GT after trying it in the US at launch so I guess there must be a way to fit in it. He never got to
drive a GT40 though as he could not close the door without slicing his head off
I should fix that- It was a new GT not an old GT40 . And I had to duck to close the door and then let my head up to be agains the roof.
Still a beautifull Car.

Yep. At first I thought it was the white lines reflecting but then I realised. A common way to make lights look dimmer (ie to be lights and not brake lights) is to pulse them at a high frequency. So it would be the interference pattern between the shutter frequency of the camera and the frequency of the lights pulse. Much like when you try and video a computer screen.
They do fit filters when filming. One thing i love about top gear is the way they do there filming. very arty and smart.
