in that case you should have got it free.
if tescos mark up something wrong, they refund your money and you keep the item. I dont see why it shouldnt work for underpriced items

Bought some of these for prezzies -
argh problem - my computer calls it an "unknown device" & it don't appear in file explorer
i.e. I can't download any files.
bundled drivers are for win98
I suspect I need an updated usb driver for XP but am getting nowhere - ideas anyone?
cheers
Bob
I got two as well, extra kids prezzies,,, I meant to say extra prezzies for me kids !!
Jason
Im no windows expert, but all devices like that ive used on XP havnt needed drivers at all (like mem pens and card readers).
Try plugging it in to another USB port from the one you first tried - this will cause windows to 'see it again' (driver needed for each
port) and perhaps you might be 2nd time lucky!
did you pay a tenner?

Yep, tenner; they had a big bin at altrincham with stacks in...
Still no joy - I've done the obvious stuff, tried other ports, tried other usb devices in those ports. Worked straight away on my mates XP
machine (like it's supposed to)
I need a kick ass usb driver for xp. . . .
