My daughter who is absolutely mad on Greenday (and me for that matter) was not impressed, I think grapes and sour spring to mind.

Shame we missed the concerts, but maybe next time they are in the UK - being as it is there alledged home now.

Where was the picture taken and are they REALLY THAT GOOD?

Ferg - 29/12/05 at 04:58 PM

Oooh. A Green Day question for you.
Why are they ALWAYS described as a Trio when every time I see them on the TV these days there are four of them??

Messenjah - 29/12/05 at 05:06 PM

genesis : yes they are THAT good

it was taken at milton keynes

and ferg:

i geuss because the billy joe tre cool and mike dirnt arent the only members of the band thay are the main members havent you heard the trumpet music in a few of their songs ??

MikeR - 29/12/05 at 05:28 PM

ok, guess which muppet spent 2 mins looking at the main strip thinking "thats the band, there's no circle"

[cough]

Messenjah - 29/12/05 at 05:33 PM

lol

Ferg - 29/12/05 at 05:51 PM

I see the point Messenjah, but they always were a trio, and a very, very good one too, but now there are always 4 of them.

Trumpet???? Not on anything I like.....

Incidentally, I'm in the videos for Koopa's '500 Miles' and Queen's 'We Are The Champions'..... perhaps we could start a club?

rusty nuts - 29/12/05 at 06:01 PM

Getting on for 20 years of rock'n'roll with '94s 'Dookie' the standout album. Gone a bit soft recently though.

steve_gus - 29/12/05 at 06:16 PM

perhaps they are like the three musketeers - the fourth was a mate helping them out

Nice one fella!! Have you seen yourself on the dvd?
Me and our lass spent hours searching it to find that we're on at 1hr 51mins in time of your life. Not half as clear as you though but its enough for us.

One of few albums I could name on which every song is a cast-iron winner.....

gazza285 - 29/12/05 at 10:46 PM

First saw them about 15 years ago at Top Spot Snooker Club in Huddersfield. They have come a long way since.
