Another piece of overpriced german tw@ttery, it will cost more in dealer resets per month than my locost cost total.
but theres no denying, its an almost unrivalled car. My mate had a measily t reg one, and it was amazing even back then.

) MMMM manual too. I drove one of those about a year ago. Awesome machine. Sideways in a car like that with so much control over it. Lovely.

I've got a hankering for an XJR (cheap one of course). Are they tarred with the same tw@t brush?
(I've got the dealer manuals on CD)
Neil.
Not too bad if you have a BMW diagnostic tool at your work though

The Jags do need resets if you change anything (like a battery), and the dealers are good and friendly.
The BMW's need a reset if the sun goes behind a cloud without permission from Berlin, the dealers tend to be condescending, aloof incompetants
Mr Allanson,
Have you ever lived with a BMW??
Ed.
Dosent look too bad for a Locost Donor vehicle

I've just gone over to the dark side, bought a '98 R plate 540i Estate (sorry Touring) with a genuine 58,000 miles on the clock. FBMWSH.
280 odd BHP, 360 odd ft of torque, 0-60 in 6 and limited to 155, five speed tiptronic box, electric everything, leather, air, the lot.
Hmm, nice motor for a lot less money than a new Fiat Panda.
Got to get a tow bar fitted to the back and see if I can tow the Indy to the 'Ring this year.
But why pay such a high premium for the M5?

Bloody germans are responsible for over 100,000,000 deaths over the last century and people buy stuff off them.
Very bright. Wonder if they'd like another go. Bliar'd probably surrender anyway.
