Perhaps you could help me?
My Dad has lost his ignition key to his RR and the local dealers here in FL want a ridiculous $55 for a new key.
Anyone in the UK able to help?
(Obviously I'll send more details if anyone can help)
Cheers,
Alan
what year RR is it?
55$ sounds OK to me -- depends on year --

Keys always cost a fortune if they got a chip in them. Have a look on ebay. Theres alsorts on there. Then just get it cut and programmed.
cheap! ford wanted over a hundred quid for a ket for my dads S reg mondeo!

Guys, I've done work for a major car key/ignition switch manufacturer....I know how little they really cost.....even the newer ones....
The only reason they charge 55$ or 100 quid is because they can.....us mugs will pay it...I don't begrudge anyone their profit...but those prices
are ridiculous.
IMO of course.
$55 bargin... RR dealers in UK will want more than that.
I had a jag, keys got pinched, full lock set cost £950.......
My mate had an Alfa, when the garage replaced the battery they lost the master code, new ECU required as it was coded to the alarm. a wacking £1500
isnt 'charging what you can' pretty std on all car and motorcycle parts?
55 dollars is about 32 quid uk? Id feel id got away pretty lightly if i needed a key. But then i have a laguna with an overcomplicated electronic
credit card sized thingy

Dont buy a key from ebay, RR keys are very complicated and need to be matched and programmed to the vehicle's ecu(one of many), the ebay keys
will not work, they will open the doors but will not imobilise the engine. without getting programmed
$55 dollers is a fantastic price we are over £100 here for a new one.
