It's a jump start battery pack (from what I can see it's 175ah) that plugs into mains to re-charge itself. It also has a built in 250psi air compressor and three 12v cig lighter sockets.

They're also showing a 12v 120watt impact wrench at £15.99 - ideal for those quick wheel changes on track days

dont these use gel batteries? so might be good for becs or anything else that can run on a small battery.

I think there a similar price in B&Q as well, worth a look

probably cheaper at stax too, i deffo saw them there today but never bothered checking the price. I have an older version that doesnt have a compressor built in, it worked well for ages but i eventually killed it by using it to start the van daily. Still sort of works, just not as well

Im happy with it - the only thing thats not that great is the built in lights which are pretty usless( ) but apart from thats its worth £25

175ah isnt that huge for starting a car - most car batteries have around 400ah cold start performance

But it might be enough to help a fading battery like the one in my Beemer. I find it incredible that you can start any car from one these cheap little magic boxes - certainly worth £25 in my book

I've had one of the Clarke version with no compressor for about 7 years now. Make sure you keep it charged and it'll last forever, well nearly .

you can buy a new battery for your car for not much more than 25 quid!!!!! if your battery is shagged, you have to buy one at some point as a replacement so you just added to the expense by buying a temporary fix too.

A cheap battery for my car is about £60 !Its not really knackered, just fading away gracefully. I work from home and rarely go out during the week so the cold weather just makes starting the six pot diesel a bit of a chore. The power station thingy saves getting the wife's car round and finding the jump leads etc.
I'll buy a new battery eventually, but I've got more bits I need to buy for the GT first
