I've just moved my DVD player from one bedroom to another and now the picture's all scrambled.

Any ideas?

It's attached with a scart lead and it was working fine this afternoon.

And no, I haven't dropped it!

Any help appreciated.

try giving the scart a wiggle, my old telly-vid combo dos this to me

Sorry to hijack this thread bur it's just jogged my memory.
Why does my dvd player need the tv volume so far up. When you come back to watch the tv it just about blows your ears off.
It's connected by a scart cable.

Sorry lol, don't suppose its got aerial connections as well? could try them to see if you get picture that way.

Have you tried it back on the original telly?

And have you tried a different DVD, I know my PS2 won't play all dvd's on my telly it like scrolls horizontal in 3 or 4 bands accross the screen
as if it can't convert from NTSC to PAL or something although it is an old telly.

I made a dvd that was just static. My bro thought his ps2 was gubbed for a while.
Hes a teckie so it only lasted about two minutes. Fun though.

I had a similar thing Chris - one I bought from ASDA for about £40. When it did that I junked it and bought a new named brand... it plays better, sound better and I've moved it twice without fault.

It always plays my por... ermmm wildlife ok
