Sorry to rain on your parade Jon but how old is your youngster. I wouldnt let any under 18 use that machine unsupervised. They are heavy machines and are dangerous for the young.
This is a potent machine that can tow a ton of car. We had the honda version and that rolled on me twice. Macspeedy had the quad pin him down in the river after flipping it. Hes a big lad and I still had to help get it off him.

Size and power is very important. My girl used to use it 14years old but we slackend the throttal off to slow the quad down. Still didnt make a differance.
