Got to change the front discs and pads on this corsa at the weekend.Anybody know if there are any nasties lurking to wreck my day.Are the discs bolted to the hub.Thanks in advance for any help.

nope there nice and simple, I've got a corsa B and a corsa C never had any problems, disc's are held on by one screw and standard,

Only thing I had a problem with was the Corsa B has the callipper held on with a allen key bolts (big ones).

As above easy peasy, just use a socket drive allen key and you should have no worries!

Use the correct method for pushing pistons back, Late model Vauxhall's are suseptible to reversal of master cylinder seals.

With wheel off, open bleed nipple, THEN clamp hose. When hose clamped and nipple open push piston back fully and shut bleed nipple.
Replace pads on that side, refit caliper and unclamp hose. SLOWLY depress pedal until it goes firm.
Repeat process for other side.

I have known quite a few people that have not done it this way and ended up replacing the master cylinder.

It pays to do it carefully on a Vauxhall.
