...no, not that kind...
We took our uni race car out for a spin a while back, and I have just got my grubby mitts on the videos:
Linky 1
Link 2
If you want to know, I am the one with the all black helmet, all the other guys had white ones on.
Its a good laugh, and apparently its 'educational' too
David
Downloaded both, but then they disapeared ???

You have a uni race car?! Thats so cool!
looks cool flak.
I think the other drivers had something wrong with there right foot!
(not heavy enough!)
At least you give it some.
Looks like you could do some silly drifting in that thing!
Dave,
What car is it? Scratch built and designed or some kit?
What engine is it too?
Good vids though mate.
The car is a formula student race car. Several universities from all over the UK and the world compete. Its scratch built by students. We build a new
one every year, I am heading up the chassis group this year (this also includes, suspension, brakes, uprights, hubs, wheels, tyres, ergonomics etc).
Its hard work, but you forget that when you get in the car. We are currently building a new one, the car in the vid is our old one from last year.
We use a triumph daytona 600 engine in ours. But you can use any engine up to 610cc. It has to run through a single 20mm inlet restrictor
unfortunately. Mind you its still damned quick.
