Guys,
I have moved into a new house and there is just a bath - no shower, its a roll top bath with a set of telephone taps (the kind with a shower hear
attached and a lever to set the flow to bath or shower)
Im sure i have seen some contraption that comes as part of a set of taps like these that involves having a metal tube cimong out the back of the taps
and running up to terminate in a shower rose, kind of a free standing shower.
What are these systems called becasue i cant see anything on the net like it and it becoming a pain in the ass having to have a bath all the time!
Cheers

Something like this??
sounds like you want mixer or thermostatic mixer taps with shower attachment do a search on mixer or thermostatic mixer, plumbworld is quite a good
site to look at the range.
Ned.
I have the same problem, as our bath is gravity feed on the hot and cold you don't need a thermostatic valve.. As the bath has a mixer tape with
a shower outlet at the top, all i intend to do is attach some chrome plated copper pipe straight up to a shower rose.. Job done (well except all the
tilling I need to do but that's a different problem!!
Cheers
