
Hi all.my daughter is having trouble with her ipod.it is saying on it do not disconnect and it seems to have frozen.can anybody give us any idea what
we can do to sort it out apart from throwing it in the bin!!

Can you power off the pc then remove it when it's off?
See if you can reset it....I imagine not since its frozen....failing that run the battery flat (leave it alone) then charge it up fully without touching it and then do a reset.....its really important to run their batteries totaly flat once a month and let them charge fully without being bothered. If you do then apples battery life claims can actually be met - it also stays like this (mine is now 3 years old and still going strong) Just take a bit of work! Oli.

hi Richard NO you cannot have my seats my daughter wants them when shes old enough to drive!
We have tried closing down and restarting it but no difference.
oliwb can you tell us how to reset it please. The computer froze while we where trying to download music so we rebooted the computer and now on the
ipod it says do not disconnect and its frozen now.Also when we try and click on itunes it will not come on the screen. Jacko

My nano did the same once, I just left it till it had run totaly out of juice the reconected it to charge and all was fine.

I think the reset sequence is hold button flicked on then off, then press and hold the centre button and the play/pause button.
Hold down menu and the centre button until it reboots.
