hi im looking to find the reg keeper of a car (name address),i have the reg and make and model but not there name coulour of there car or address is
it poss to find the address ,i am willing to pay to find there address.
the police wont give it out to me i have tryed them.
There's a DVLA form to fill in to apply to get someone's details from their reg.no.
They want a damn good reason (as far as I know, only a crash and failure-to-stop is justification) to give you the info, in my case they wanted full
details of the accident and names of witnesses etc.
It's not easy
You can find out whether a car is taxed and insured through the DVLA website, jus input the make and reg.no. on the webform and it'll tell you.
It doesn't give out any name or address though...

Hpi check?
hpi wont tell you registered address, and in fact, its a good thing that its not easily found out. Data handling act for a start, id guess
Ooh, that's a nice veyron, i'll just jot down it's plate so I can find out where it's kept at night then me and my mate Dave can
go there tonight and find it a new owner, in Dubai, cash, no questions asked. Sweet.
Not too likely really.
Wouldn't be to trace the owner of a Porsche 924 Turbo perchance?
If not the Porsche what is it - if it's anything out of the usual then owners club. HPI won't get you the name/address - just tell you if it's stolen or not, or the subject of finance/accident.
