I have a Xerox XA7-17i monitor which is the best screen i have ever seen. They do a 19" version too and they are very good on price. One of the main reasons i like it is (apart from awesome screen image) is the fact it has a glass screen protecting the TFT/LCD screen so it's easy to clean and well protected.

You can use a KVM Switch to run 2 monitors, you just switch between each monitor.

You will need a kvm switch to connect to pc's with one mouse, keyboard and monitor.

Just got one for a ps/2 mouse and keyboard but it doesnt work for our needs so may be for sale very soon.
