mountain bike pedals

I am buying some new pedals for my mountain bike are there different threads out there?

would depend on the cranks too!!!

Campagnolo and Shimano use same thread so is probably a bike industry standard.

I've had/got more bikes that you have fish and chips suppers and I've yet to come across a different thread (maybe if your bike is really really ancient)

One of them is left hand thread.

Generally all MB ones are the same, there is normally only a variation when you start looking at BMX's and road bikes pedals......so as long as you dont buy BMX pedals you should be fine.

Some MB cranks for DH and Jumping have BMX thread, but you should know if you have these.

I have used DMR V12's on a fair few bikes in the past including Jumps and DH bikes.....so they will stand up to a fair bit of abuse. Not ultra locost but good value for money. But they may be a little OTT depending on what your looking for

Other than a few oddball bits they are mainly 9/16", apart from some BMX stuff which is 1/2". As mentioned the nearside is left hand thread.
