ive got a crappy phone and a crappy contract, its costing me £27 a month with free evening and weekend calls.
i dont use the phone that much now and not fussed about getting a new complicated one.
so whats the best deal for cheaper line rental but i must keep my old number
I've just done a deal with Talk Talk.
For £8.99p.m., I get free cales to UK geographical land lines 24/7, plus free calls to 30 listed countries including USA and Australia 24/7, plus up
to 8Meg (I can only get 5.5Meg where I live) broadband with a 40 Gig monthly download limit.
Suits me mate.
I told Vodafone I didn't want my phone any more and was closing my contract.
They promptly reduced the tariff for a 100minute, 50 text tarif down to £13.66p.
Sorted.
Confused but Excited, you seem to be living up to your name as I think he's talking mobile contracts
Three are currently doing a basic tariff which gives you 500 any time, cross
network minutes (ie to other mobiles and landlines) for £15 a month, and like any mobile supplier you should be able to port your number over, you
just need to ring your existing provider and ask for a "PAC" code, which you give to the new supplier and they then transfer your number.

With any luck John they may do you a deal where you get a spanking new phone and a decent tarrif, like coozer
Good luck & let us know how you get on as i'm thinking of doing the same.
