Just watched the highlights on ITV4 - those guys are amazing!
6 laps, 226 miles, averaging around 125 - 130 mph per lap... on ordinary roads!
those guys are superstars

bloody lunatics more like
Forgot to mention - in one or two places the TV helicopter couldn't keep up with the leader!
I'm not a biker, but you can't fail to be impressed
Lunatics maybe, but they go into it knowing all the risks and good for them.
Long may it continue.
Completely barking, although slightly less barking than sidecar passengers
My best mate's missus is good friends with Trevor Nation (used to ride the rotary Nortons in British Superbike and a 2x TT winner) and so Ive had
the pleasure of a few chats with him at Goodwood FOS etc, top top bloke but makes you realise these people are on another level for lack of fear and
complete confidence in their abilities to take part in something like that.

Best week I've ever had away on holiday... even if it was in 1986!
I've packed the biking in now but all my mates are over there every year.
He's on a mission.
He won the race I was watching, by a huge margin (by TT standards). Scary to watch him passing the back markers - they were getting blown all over the road by his wake.
Yes 86 was a great year. It was a pity yer man tran out of petrol at the veranda

Superstock race on tonight at the same time, should be good. Bruce Anstey broke the lap record on his standing start lap and put in a 128mph lap later on which is only 1mph lower than the superbike record, and I suspect quicker than he went on his superbike on Monday!
My money is one a 131mph lap for the superbikes.
One of the old 50mph corners has been changed and is now a 150mph corner!!
