Qucik question about my contract
"you will recieve one trip home per year with 7 days per diem provided"

MAny Thanks

Per diem usually relates to expenses / allowances. We used to give a per diem rate of £whatever to cover things like hotel, meals etc when people were working overseas
My understanding would be that you get 7 days living expenses provided - e.g. hotel, fares etc. possibly as they consider you to be away from home whilst back home if you see what I mean
... with 7 days [per day] provided ...
Perhaps they're suggesting that a 1 week trip is enough?
I would read it to mean, that you will be given 7 days expenses at a fixed rate, to cover meals, taxis, etc whilst travelling to and from home, talking your leave. A sort of little tax free bung.
i agree i think it means ill get expenses when im on my leave
