Tool Box Drawer Liner wanted (of the locost variety!)
worX - 28/12/07 at 11:13 PM

Hi All,

I've just bought a much better sized toolbox off ebay and I'd like to get some drawer liners in it. I've looked on ebay, and there isn't that much there, and I checked Halfords and they have some and it's not "the end of the world" price, but if I was being honest I'd rather get it from somewhere else!

Then I figured that there must be a locost way of finding that rubber material, and thought that this forum is obviously the best place to ask where from!

So, come on guys (and girl), where can I find the stuff for a good price?

Cheers,
Steve

When I was in the same predicament as you I went to my local cheapy pound store and picked up two of their stupidly thin foam rubber camping mats for £4....Once they were cut up and taped down with double sided tape it seems to work ok...

Not quite as good as the real thing, but for £4 who cares!

Carpet underlay.

I also have a fooking large roll of black 5mm closed cell foam sheet.

How much do you need and I'll chop you a chunk off.

Pat...

pond liner offcuts are perfect, 5mm can be a bit thick for the thinner drawers on a snap on box.

have none left here though, last of the pond liner made a nice stretchy tonneau cover for the 7!!
