
Has anyone here changed a corsa clutch cable?
any hints or tips?
I need to sort my daughters car, it's a p reg.

The actual job is a doddle but it will go again until you fix the cause. The
nipple breaks off at the pedal end because the plastic retainer wears out. Take the air filter off to get down the back of the engine and push the
cable through the bulkhead, pull the inner into the slot on the pedal and push it back into place under the two prongs then pull the other end into
the fork on the gearbox and adjust it till the pedal is the right height. I made a little clip from a piece of 16g about 10mm square with a slot for
the cable to go through and pushed it up behind the nipple with some epoxy to hold it in place and it stops the nipple from flexing and fraying the
cable.
