how much !!!!

Wow - thats some torch.

My mate who works on the rigs works with some redneck yanks (his term not mine). Apparently that aint a torch. That is a flashlight. A torch is for setting fire to things (his term was slightly different but ill keep it PC).

Not sure how good it is but even if I had won the lottery it would have to be pretty blimin' special for me to part from my trusty Maglite...

... once dropped it down a flight of concrete cellar steps. Didn't work when I picked it up. Turned out the batteries had crushed inside the torch due to the force of hitting the concrete. The torch was fine and not a scratch!

This chap does new internals into maglite cases and ups the power to very high levels.

I manage fuel storage tank construction and repair project. We have to hydrotest tanks under certain circumstances and we use the lights to spot leaks. We put a fluro dye in the water.

It is a very successful technique especially when you consider the tanks are 80m diam and 48' high

speedyxjs - 18/9/08 at 06:46 AM

That is a bit on the high side

Agriv8 - 18/9/08 at 08:33 AM

Liam,

So let me get this right I am ok with the building bit. But the bit where you state 'repair'.

Now I have reparied a lister Derv tank 1 or 2 gallons it only went POP once. I am gessing you dont fill them with exhaust gasses and weld away !!.

Regards

Agriv8

i noticed whilst reading the comments that the price is very steep, but MY GOD, that has got to be the funkiest torch i have ever seen, it looks like something out of a space movie, like 'the chronicle of riddick' or something

have you been watching "Dog the bounty hunter" by any chance?
