How to remove date or usage lock from program?
I downloaded a little program...more of an add-in really, from a shareware site, and I really like it. Problem is, when I went to purchase it, the
contact website doesn't exist any longer.
After a bit of work, I tracked the vendor's phone number down (the vendor was given as a business just down the road from me here in Aus!).
I spoke first to a regular git who told me he'd never heard of the product, and passed me to the boss who reitterated the response.
So, if the contact details given with a program don't pan out, and the original shareware site's officianados don't have any further
details, is there any harm in trying to remove the usage lock to make it full functioning?
Does anyone here have any experience of re-writing software or whatever's involved?
Cheers, Rorty.

be careful you have your security restrictions set on your browser... you wouldn't want unsavoury cracks appearing on your screen... ... ...
surely!!!
I'd enter the search in Google images and see what you get
